Volunteers Needed

The newly renamed Festival of Arts in Gresham is now under the stewardship of the Center for the Arts Foundation. This year's event promises to be a vibrant celebration of art and culture, taking place on Saturday, July 20, in Downtown Gresham.

The Festival of Arts is a free, family-friendly event held annually on the third Saturday in July. It features handcrafted art from more than 125 artists across the Pacific Northwest, live music, and local cuisine. The event kicks off in style with live performances, diverse vendors, delicious food trucks, and a dedicated kids’ zone for the youngest art enthusiasts. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the artistic and cultural offerings of Gresham and grab your limited edition Festival of Arts tote bag for convenient shopping.

About the Center for the Arts Foundation

The Center for the Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching our community with vibrant and diverse artistic experiences. The Foundation promotes the sustained development of the arts by cultivating necessary resources, enhancing community values, and providing opportunities for performance and self-expression.

The Foundation's efforts support artistic performances that provide employment, attract visitors, and promote economic development. One of its long-term goals is to advocate for a community center for the arts. Current initiatives include supporting the Gresham Readers Theatre and sponsoring the creation of a public art mural depicting scenes from the historic development of the City of Gresham, thanks to artist Lee Lauritzen.

Your contributions allow us to support these programs. We welcome new Board members and volunteers and appreciate social media support to enhance our success.
